Eventful October 1: IMAX with Rachel

Well October has been a very eventful month and without realizing, November's coming. (i still remember singing 'wake me up when sept ends)

 

After making our first sale in weeks, rachel and i decided to watch the beavers in the IMAX theatre. well the logic is.. she read somewhere that we should adopt the working style of beavers. they are v v hardwroking animals and have a v sequential and organized way of building their home. they start out by building the dam.. and it is a DAMN huge dam fyi. this is to prevent potential predators from swimming to their lodge (which is the where the beavers stay) and gives the beavers a wide space of water to swim in. the entrance to the lodge is underwater and i think it is rly cool =)

 

Well so here's the analogy. like beavers, we should build our biz in sequence and work hard on it.create a dam to contain our customers and help them by introducing them to quality eproducts to buy online. =) well short and sweet post.. i like it!

 

ps. beavers are rly cute.. hahah!

Hot and hazy day

it's a hot and hazy day. Like seriously hot and hazy! Woke up early this morning to play soccer w bearbear and friends. Well.. my form was a bit off and i had a quiet day on e court. sending my mom to work now and aYE is jamming like mad. Omg.. Gd thing my das is on e wheel.. Otherwise.. I might probably fall aslp while waiting. kinda tired after soccer.

Sometimes.. my neck gets sore after soccer or other strenuous sports. I injured my neck while playing soccer a few yrs back. I wonder if its tt injury tt is causing me such discomfort now. What do you think? If anyone who reads this hv a similar situation as me.. Pls lemme know ya? Tks!

Getting high at work

Remember in my previous post i talked about my company being myopic and selfish and 'everything bad'.. now it's even worse! let me tell you why...

 

the other half of the office is being renovated now and guess what are they doing? they are GLUE-ING... omg... the worst part is... they didn't even open the windows at the renovation side for ventilation. i don't blame them.. after all.. they are contractors.. they are here to do their job and get out. i blame the people who hired them and the person in charge of dealing with these external contractors - for not telling them what to do exactly to make the office a better place to work.

 

i'm not using this as an excuse to skive.. but i went for lunch 30 mins earlier to get away from the smell.. it is v v bad i tell you. even the section heads and managers 'ran' away. they opened the doors and even the toilet door to let the air out! gosh.. i am really high now.. i think any more sniffing of this glue will damage my brain even further!
