Marina Bay Sands getaway
Had a short getaway w rachel on thursday and friday @ marina bay sands. Her dad booked e room for us and we got the opportunity to enjoy ourselves there. We first headed to the pool and soaked for about half an hour before heading back to shower. The pool is cool.. Loads of ppl enjoying their swim there and so did we. We manage to take a few cool photos which are in rachel's phone.. So i'll post them here once i get them. Then we headed for dinner @ marina sq. Had kfc 2 pc chicken meal. Had some troubles communicating w the waitress(tiong).. I asked for an upgrade to nescafe frappe.. But she thought i wanted pepsi.. They are ao different right.. She only understood me when i pointed e picture to her. After whcih, we headed back for the night and planned to swim again e next morning. We didnt manage to wake up. Haha.. We ended up waking @ 10 and showered before checking out for lunch @ the restaurant downstairs. 1 plate of chicken rice is 22 bucks! Omg.. It's like getting half a chicken @ e coffee shop.. Well.. good thing tt rachel's parents are nice ppl who bought lunch.. In fact.. Her dad paid for our dinner too.. I'm v lucky =) i enjoyed myself during this short getaway!
